The cabin is just steps from the waters of Lake Geneva, and right around the corner from the channel that leads you into Lake Le Homme Dieu. There is a main bedroom that sleeps 2 and a futon and bunk room that sleeps 4. The playful outdoor dining area is ready for your fish fry or summer celebration, complete with string lights and outdoor speakers.

There is a fire pit next to the lake, so don’t forget to grab a few bundles of wood to enjoy the peaceful evenings as well. There is a shed on the patio to store your outdoor gear and it includes an extra refrigerator, as well as a stereo system so you can enjoy some music while you sit by the lake.

Walk right onto the dock to enjoy some fishing and swimming. A 2nd dock and boat lift are available for an extra fee.

The Master bedroom has king size bed and en-suite master bathroom with granite counter vanity, towel warmer, soaking tub, and separate ceramic tile shower. Large walk-in closet. Two bedrooms upstairs, with shared full bath. One bedroom has two built-in full-size beds and a free-standing queen bed—ideal for either children, teens, or adults. The second bedroom has a queen bed, plenty of space for a crib or packs ‘n play, and another walk-in closet. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower, vanity, and large linen cabinet.

The kitchen has all brand new Whirlpool appliances, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, range, microwave. All new custom cabinetry with granite countertops. A surprising deep blue farm-style sink is the focal point of the kitchen—an expansive center island with 4 bar stools. A large table in the dining area seats 8 more. The living area has spectacular windows with lake views facing southeast with lots of sun and beautiful sunrises. New queen sofa sleeper and loveseat face the gas fireplace, with stone hearth and rustic mantle. Vaulted ceilings with wood beams add to the coastal decor. The large TV above the fireplace makes a cozy place to stream your favorite shows and movies. WiFi is included.

One of the best features is the set of walk-out glass doors to the stone patio. Flat walk out to the lake with no stairs or hills to climb, except a few steps down to the dock. Easy water access for swimming, kayak, canoe, paddleboard entry, or small children to splash in the lake. There is a bench swing to relax and watch the fishermen on this quiet little lake on the Alex chain of lakes. Washlines to dry your swimsuit and beach towels. The Master bedroom also has French sliding doors out to the lake.

Main floor large front loading washer and dryer in the laundry room, with utility sink and folding area. Guest 1/2 bath on the main floor has vanity sink and toilet easily accessible to front entry/mudroom. The cottage also comes equipped with towels, dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, pots/pans, detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, and Kleenex. The kitchen has a coffee maker, toaster, and basic cooking items. On the patio is a Weber grill which you will need to bring charcoal for. There is also a heavy wood table on the patio. You may want to bring a few folding/parade-style chairs to sit outside.

The Alexandria lakes area has much to offer during all four seasons. Lake Brophy County Park is a newly constructed park on the north side, 5 minutes from the cottageA. A large sandy swimming beach and a huge playground with new play equipment and zip line, a wheelchair-accessible kayak/canoe entry, and a large fishing pier. The central lakes trail adjoins the park, with miles of paved trails for biking, rollerblading, running, and walking. The hills also have mountain biking trails. In winter, these trails are groomed for snowmobile and cross-country skiing. There are sledding hills and an ice skating rink at Brophy Park as well. This is a fabulous place to bring the whole family any time of year.

This cute cottage on Brophy Shores is also conveniently located within walking distance to Brophy Bay Mart, a gas station, liquor store, and small convenience store with groceries, bait for fishing, newspapers, and ice cream for the kids!

Also, nearby Brophy Resort offers pontoon and fishing boat rentals. Brophy Bay Mart is within walking distance to grab any forgotten supplies, treats for the kiddos or stock up on some extra firewood for those evening bonfires.
